Very flattering with a shaped waist created with single crochet ribbing. The panels are also worked from side to side so the self-striping ombre yarn creates much more flattering vertical stripes.
Simple stitches throughout the pattern — half double and single crochet stitches. The half double crochet is worked between the posts eliminating the line running through your work to give this sweater a lovely modern appearance.
